About Rafael Jantz

For over 10 years South American based Photographer & Cinematographer Rafael Jantz has created impressive photography and videos for some of Suriname's largest companies and international organizations. His work has included lifestyle advertising, portraits, and videos for commercial and documentary.

His unique experience has made him grow into a story-driven photographer and cinematographer that produces powerful images whether shot on location or in studio.

Combining my intimate knowledge of the rain forest and its inhabitants I try to bridge the gap between the Western world and the Amazon by showing the many incredible scenes that one can only see by spending time in this dangerous, wild, and incredibly beautiful landscape.  

This approach has shaped the way i capture images. Focusing on the emotion of a scene and how it unfolds. I currently operates in Paramaribo, Suriname both independently and with a close-knit group of specialized creatives.
